Presence of a young woman as a member of South Korean technical staff during the championship, rather than a spectator, was interesting. So, we conducted a short interview with this very active and kind woman head of the South Korea.

What are the plans of the South Korean Zurkhaneh Sports Federation to familiarize people with the sports?
To develop Zurkhaneh sports and introduce it across South Korea, we plan to utilize all mechanisms like the media and establishing Zurkhaneh training schools for children.
How many events has Korea team participated in?
We attended the Championships of Tehran 2006 and Busan 2008, in the latter we ranked the second. In Asian Championship in Bangladesh, South Korea participated with 6 Zurkhaneh athletes and 1 wrestler, 4 in youth level. Young athletes have been targeted to better preparation and gain champion or vice-champion places in the youth competitions. Therefore, our main target is the Asian Youth Championship.
