The 4th IZSF Worldwide Congress was attended by Mehr Alizadeh, The President; Solaiman Abdulvahidov, The Vice President from Tajikistan; Mohammad Anwar Jekdalek , Deputy President and President of the Asian Confederation from Afghanistan; Ahmad Donyamali Khazaneh Dar; Dr. Seyyed AmirHoseini, Secretary General, as well as 15 members from Asia, 12 from Europe, 7 from Africa, and one from North America.
At the beginning, Mehr Alizadeh, president of the International Zurkhaneh Sports Federation, said:” To reach ideals, we need 10 to 15 years comprehensive work. Having a stepwise look, however, I must say that 80 percent of ideals considered, have been reached.”
“We have passed a significant part of 40 years efforts in Taekwondo just inside a 7 year period. This can be countedy as a great success, thanks to support from the executive figures, the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, and members”, he asserted.
Referring to investments on youth and adolescence levels, president of the International Zurkhaneh Sports Federation welcomed the activities of the Nanational Federation and IZSF members in youth and adolescence levels and said:” The 1st European Zurkahneh Sports Championships was held in Belarus and in the light for the plans designed, the 1st Asian Youth Championship will be held in the Hakim Ferdowsi Zurkhaneh in
Dushanbeh.”
Members of the IZSF General Assembly council reviewed the membership request from 11 countries. With the approval of the assembly, Turkey, Georgia, Estonia, Latviya, Poland, Russia, Finland, Slovakia, Zimbabwe and Kenya became members of the International Federation of Sports.
Mohsen Mehr Alizadeh advised the approval of an important clause in the IZSF statute:” In the original statute, Tehran was selected as the main center, supposing that any other place can be chosen as a center. Due to the cultural importance of Zurkahneh sports, Tehran was selected as the perpetual center, so Iranians can be the focal of Zurkahenh sport and lead it.”
Review of Financial reports of previous years and some recommendations for the sporting calendar years 2011 and 2012 were among issues raised in this Congress.

This Congress was attended by members of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Bangladesh from Asia; Lithuania, Georgia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Latviya, Poland, Russia, Finland, Slovakia and Germany from Europe; and South Africa, Uganda, Benin, Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya and Zimbabwe from Africa; and America represent North America.
Mr. Jassim Mohammed Jafar, IZSF first vice president and Minister of Youth and Sports of Iraq; Parviz Ebadi, president of the American Zurkhaneh Sports Confederation; Van Shik Hong, IZSF marketing committee chairman; and Khasayar Heidari, Zurkahneh Developments in Oceania official; Josken Beigli from Turkey, Opali from Sri Lanka and Naomi from Malawi could not attend the congress.
The 4th World Zurkhaneh Sport World Congress was held in the National Council conference room at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bangladesh’s, coinciding with the 3rd Asian Zurkhaneh Sports
Championships.
