In a meeting held this morning in Tehran at the IZSF Head Quarter in Tehran, with the presence of Dr. Mohsen Mehralizadeh, IZSF President, and Mr. Ozdemir Bozatlioghu, President of Turkish Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani Federation for his request and IZSF approved, The 5th Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani World Cup will host by Turkey.

During the visit, Dr. Mehralizadeh welcomed the efforts of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Iran and the Iran National Olympic Committee in recognition of the positive actions taken by IZSF to be include Zurkhane Sports in fifth Islamic Games in 2021 which will be held in Turkey. He also emphasized the need for the development of this sport in Turkey, have to pay more attention to the athletes from Turkey. IZSF President gave a special mission to Turkish Federation to developed Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani from grass root level.

In addition to appreciating the efforts and support of IZSF for development internationally of this field, Mr. Ozdemir Bozatlioghu, President of Turkish Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani Federation, also he requested  for hosting the 5th Zurkhaneh sports and Koshti Pahlavani World Cup and IZSF accepted his request.
It was also stipulated that an advanced training course for Zurkhaneh sports and Koshti Pahlavani to be organized in Konya, Turkey this summer by supports of IZSF.
